There's no snow in Chicago's forecast for Monday night's Bears game against the Dallas Cowboys, but it could be in the teens by kickoff, meaning weather will undeniably be a factor for this critical NFC showdown.

Jay Cutler's out for the Bears, but with the Detroit Lions losing in the Philadelphia whiteout Sunday, a win gets Marc Trestman's team back into a tie atop the NFC North.

Cowboys vs. Bears: Live Scores, Highlights and Reaction

Like the Bears, the Dallas Cowboys are a half-game out of their respective division lead and would like to keep pace with the Eagles before the Week 17 clash between the two clubs, which may very well determine the NFC East champ.

We'll be treated to one of the better wide receiver matchups of the season on Soldier Field this evening, with Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Dez Bryant looking to impose their will on smaller corners in hopes of aiding their quarterbacks.

All eyes will be focused on Josh McCown and Tony Romo, but don't forget about DeMarco Murray and Matt Forte—the feature backs could impact this intraconference contest in big ways.

The game kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
